Commonly referred to as Club Med, this French corporation sets up vacation resorts in select exotic locations, incorporating a concept of an all-inclusive resort. Founded in 1950 by former Belgian water polo champion, Gerard Blitz, it repositioned itself in 2001 and is now, more than ever, the place where sophistication meets fun. With more than 100 hotels in 40 countries, Club Med is dedicated to perfecting the highest standards of hospitality.
In ‘Salalah Beach’ Club Med will be designed by France’s leading architects Christian Hauvette & Wassim Ben Mahmoud with 366 keys. Hauvette’s architecture is characterised by a clear, constructive purpose that is very expressive. Started in 1980, his firm is one of the outstanding organisations in reviving quality in public architecture. He has maintained his interest in housing, with both rental and condominium residential buildings in Paris, Rennes and in the Paris suburbs.
Wassim Ben Mahmoud started his professional career in Tunisia in the early 70s and is mostly renowned for his work in big development housing complexes, offices, industrial buildings, exclusive homes and public buildings.
